It has been several years since the war between the Republicans and the Empire ended.  Peace reigns on Planet Zi.  A Guardian Force, whose members include Van Flyheight and Fiona, was formed to hunt down and stop insurgence groups who seek to plunge the planet into war once again.

Review: Just like the Armada-Energon conversion, GF is a darker, more serious version than Chaotic Century.  All the characters from Chaotic Century are back plus there are some new heroes (and villains) in the mix.  I loved it when it aired on CN that I even got up early just so I could watch it.

Action Level: 4/5
Still involves mostly robot animals clawing and biting each other but this time, there're more of them.

Romance Level: 3/5
This is due to Lt. Schubaltz trying to impress Fiona, but Fiona, being Fiona, is too naive to recognize it.

Comedy Level: 2/5
Like I said, more darker than Chaotic Century.

Adult Level: 1/5
Nothing too bad.

Drama Level: 4/5
At the end, where the final villain is revealed, that was more dramatic than ever before.

Overall Level: 3/5
I'm glad they chose to end it.  If they went any further, they might've ruined it like FUNimation did with Dragonball GT.
