A Saiyan named Paragus arrives to recruit Vegeta to be the leader of a new Saiyan world.  Vegeta, being Vegeta, accepts and Trunks, Krillin, Gohan, and the others come along for the ride.  Things, however, are not what they seem as Goku discovers that the planet's previous inhabitants are being enslaved by Paragus.  But the true threat isn't Paragus or his army, but Paragus' son, Broly, who has some connection to Goku.  Broly can transform into a Super Saiyan who seems to be more powerful than Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks.  They must find a way to stop Broly before he destroys them all.

Review: This was good on several levels.  The first level is that it didn't just focus on Goku, but rather Vegeta as well.  Another level is that they go into the Saiyan history rather effectively.  They bring out Vegeta's character well and I wouldn't be surprised if Vegeta learned something from this.  Definitely worth watching.

Action Level: 5/5
All-out Saiyan Brawl.

Romance Level: 0/5

Comedy Level: 4/5
Master Roshi's off-key singing and the ending was probably really hilarious.

Adult Level: 1/5
A drunk Master Roshi is about as adult as this movie's going to get.

Drama Level: 3/5
Vegeta's fear upon learning that Broly is the indestructable Super Saiyan was a great dramatic touch.

Overall Level: 3/5
I bought this for 20 bucks.  Good price.  If you buy it, buy it cheap.
