It has been three years since the end of the One-Year War.  But hostilities have not died down.  The renegade Delaz Fleet steals a prototype Gundam armed with nuclear weapons.  Kou Uraki and the crew of the Albion must use another Gundam prototype to get it back.

Review: I like to quote a critique my Dad once made after seeing the movie "Independence Day" It's the only movie where over 50 million people died yet everyone walks away happy.  I believe this fact applies to 0083 too.  A entire section of the U.S. is destroyed, tons of enemy Mobile Suits are wiped out, an entire enemy fleet is destroyed, and yet at the end, everyone looks happy.  Which makes it one of my favorite Gundam series.  I mean the happy endings are possible even through the horror of war.  Very good.

Action Level: 4/5
I'm glad that the Gundam group redeemed for the lack of action in 0080 with lots of action in 0083.  It was almost as good as the original.

Romance Level: 3/5
The on-again, off-again romantic relationship between Kou and Nina get annoying at times, but I'm glad that for once, the main character does get the girl.

Comedy Level: 2/5
The Three Stooges (my name for the three pilots who first appear in episode 3) are loud colors and need a shroud placed over them.  Keith's pretty funny though and so is Mona.

Adult Level: 2/5
It's almost like the original MSG series.

Drama Level: 3/5
They really pick up the drama towards the end especially with Gato, Kou, and Nina.

Overall Level: 3/5
I was told that this is the prelude to another Gundam series.  I'm looking for it right now.
